The Tozan ryu style utaguchi is an elegant inlay for your shakuhachi flute that can be ordered in place of the standard Kinko ryu style.
Most of the difference between the Tozan & Kinko ryu utaguchi styles is aesthetic, though the Tozan inlay does cover a bit more of the blowing edge than the Kinko. For playability, this would be a fairly minor difference, as both styles cover the part of the edge that is used most.
Made of durable acrylic with an outline of sterling silver.

The Kinko ryu style utaguchi pictured above is also aesthetically pleasing. It is a matter of choice between the two styles you are drawn to. Both play beauitfully.
